My mom love musical theater and reading. She has a funky sense of style. She's in her early 40s. I asked her what she wanted, and she said 'Don't spend your money on me!', but i know that come Christmas time, my mom will be bitter is she doesn;t get any presents. Mind you, I'm a fourteen year old working of a tight babysitting budget. So what should I do?
**ALSO** What should my dad get her... he's stumped too!

Theater tickets to a musical, some nice books if you know of any she wants. Your Dad could probably do the tickets unless the two of you would like to get a combined gift then you can get a book or something nice to wear.

Possible presents::
-first of all definently MAKE her a card [they love that]
-you could bake her something.
-the broadway musical lion king book [is great, my mom loves it]
-a blank book with lines so she can write a play/book of her own
-flowers
-theatrical mask [to hang on the wall.. or wear]
-music box
-if there is an antique/second had store those are always good to look in
-YOU COULD KNIT HER A SCARF =] that would be awsome

YOUR DAD should get her tickets to a play.

Buy your Mom the musical Rent for Christmas. Maybe your Dad can get your Mom couples cooking classes they offer them all the time at the grocery stores or restaurants.

Here's an idea, it is so cheap she won't even refuse it, and it also has sentimential value coming from the heart so she definately won't refuse it.

It's a new or good condition cast iron horseshoe without rust with the U shape facing up for good luck.

It costs only $5.00 or less.

It's so cheap it actually fits your tight budget perfectly.

Books -- "In the Shadow of the Ark", "The Secret Life of Bees", "The Last Days of Dogtown", they are all what I would call women's books, and interesting. I read them and they were interesting and easy to understand.
