My boss wants me to turn a pdf worksheet into an excel worksheet (basically transfer data to excel instead of it being in PDF form). Is this possible? If so, how -details? I really don't have time to retype all the info into an excel spreadsheet.

Thank you!

If you only need to do this once, you can use the free trial of this software

to transfer the data from PDF to Excel. Obviously, this won't give you any formulas that were used in the original spreadsheet, only the data.

Hi,

It might be possible to open the PDF in Adobe Reader (free from adobe.com) or Adobe Acrobat and use Edit > Select All then Edit > Copy.

The switch to Excel and use Edit > Paste or Edit > Paste Special.

Depending upon how the information was laid out in the PDF you might need to use Excel's Data menu and choose Text to Columns.
