1. Online shopping with express delivery (it might be too late for standard delivery by Christmas)

2. Man up and brave the crowds. If you focus on what you need an ignore all the people around you, it's not that bad.
Then go home and have a beer.

I definitely would not say screw it. It will show your family that you care and were thoughtful of them this time of year.

Hi Sweetie,
Are U just kidding? Don't be an old Scrooge, at least u can get gift card's if U don't know how to shop for a particular person r em all.
Be Kind Rewind...........R thoughts. It's Christmas, once a year thats all, under r rough, tough exterior I know u like presents, some don't get anything, besides it's better to give then recieve. But U know U will! Give the gift of Christmas even with a small token knowing u care. I hope u have a "Very Merry Christmas!"

There are too many gifts that you can buy on the Intranet with free shipping. You know, I hate to say it, but it sure sounds like you are very self centered and expect your family to put up with your rude behavior. Christmas is about caring for people, not about what is convenient for you. Try ordering from the Internet, if you have the money, and you will feel really good. If you don't have money, then you can offer to do chores for other people like cleaning up after a meal that has been cooked for you, or volunteering to shovel the walk, or plant flowers if there is no snow. Peel potatoes, or mash potatoes for your mom. Wash your dad's car by hand - don't ask him to get everything ready for you to wash it either. Sweep the floor, carry laundry up stairs. Make a coupon book with these chores in them and then your parents can use the coupons when they want them done. More importantly, stop thinking about yourself and start being nice to other people.

Oh I wouldn't go shopping this late. And I wouldn't recommend doing the online deal either, since you waited so long the over night or any shipping charges for that matter will be crazier than the amount you will be paying for the gift. I would though say that you should try to do something for your family. Something crafty....or cook something special and different.

Maybe you should shop online like the other people said or try to find a store where there is least likely to be great crowds at.

Brave the crowds. I'm sure your family is worth it :)
I'm doing that this week.
Had to wait for finals to be over before concentrating on shopping

If you have a 24 hour store like a Walmart that is close, you could get up early (6AM or earlier) and do your shopping while the crowds are lighter.

You could shop on line. A lot of places are offering free shipping right now, but you have to do it quick, like within the next couple of days for the stuff to get here by the holidays.

Gift Cards! Gift Cards! Gift Cards!

You go to the front of the store. Wait in line. Leave. You still have to be around people but not for nearly as long as you would had you decided to "shop."

Best option: online shopping
