I'd definately go without the electricity. Running water is too darn important from all kinds of health perspectives.

Electricity. When there was a hurricane and we were without both, I got pretty thirsty while reading by candlelight. I was depressed cause I couldn't have my shower as well. The water in the tub was only for toilet-flushing purposes. Grr.

I would need running water way more. I could build a fire if I wanted light or if I wanted to cook something.

Electricity, because I have gone without it. At my house, we have a wood stove, lanterns and candles.
