I don't really trust people unless they're in my family. Its really hard for me to trust... I barely even trust my best friend. Sometimes I think that I need to make it through life on my own without the help of others. Anyone else like that?
Do you think its better not to trust people than to trust people?

Trust your intuition and your family. Noone else.
PS- there's not much proof to prove that anything positive can come from trusting friends. So many people end up in a "bad way" because they trusted people who didn't deserve to be trusted.

I think there are different levels of trust, and the things you trust people with vary depending on who they are. For example, I would trust my son to drive my car but I wouldn't trust a co-worker to do so.
It isn't an all-or-nothing situation, to trust or not trust. But I have found that it is better to trust someone until they prove unworthy of your trust, keeping in mind your personal boundaries.

depends on what you mean by trust. keeping a secret? trusting with your life? there are diferent levels of trust. for the most part, i will trust people with the basics simply b/c i have no reason not to. that's not to say i'd tell just anyone my entire life or allow anyone to watch my son but on a daily basis, yea, i trust people.

I think its better not to trust people. The only person I trust and depend on now is myself. that may be sad, but its better to be safe than sorry.

Trust to a certain extent. But in the end people need people, don't try to do everything yourself.

The only people I trust unconditionally are Apple/Mac users.

well i know its hard to trust people and what are u saying is right you shouldnt trust any body....uz one day if he gets upset from you he will say you secret but you should trust some people(some very close people)

me too cus you never know who is stabbin you in the back while you em them a hug i dont trust ALOT of ppl it takes alot to get me to trust any1
but i seem to trust guys a hell of a lot more than i trust girls. girls are vicious

I'd prefer not too; trust people too much, they'll screw up too badly, just once. My trust in them is shattered after than.
