I know it is sexually transmitted disease, but is there any other way of getting something?

You can also get an STD through kissing, herpes. This is very rare though. The most common ways of getting an STD is through sexual intercourse, and anal or oral sex.

Yes. Oral sex can also transmit STDs. Any contact in which your body fluids mix is a possibility. Not all STDs are the sole result of sexual activity. Herpes is considered a sexually transmitted disease, but you can also be born with it.
