Well I feel like a damn fool asking this but I was writing a headhunter about an interview I had this morning and I can't remember if this is a real word or not.

"The interview only lasted 11 minutes."

Jesus... and I went to an Ivy League school.

We all blank sometimes..

"Lasted" is a word and you've used it correctly.

Yes, you have the right word, and have used it in the correct context in your example sentence. You are certainly not a fool, and we all make mistakes (for example, I never experienced any difficulties with literacy, yet lately make typos galore and have gotten a bit dyslexic!) Yes, 'lasted' is a valid word, exactly as you used it.
