By comparisson, I have had a Xbox 360 since launch, and only twice have I had to delete things off the 20GB HDD. It doesn't help that games like FFXI took up 5 - 8 gigs, but you get the idea. The PS3 will hold all sorts of game saves and downloadable content. You should be able to get at least six to seven years out of it before even having to worry about deleting stuff. The only thing that would shorten that would be if you loaded it up with movies and MP3s, but no one should need to do that as it is so easy to stream video directly from your PC to the PS3.

This is a pretty vague question, it depends on your overall application of saving information. Keep this in mind, each PS3 DVD with Blue Ray can hold 50 GB on Dual layer. This means that only one full game can be saved to the computer. Now , as far as screen shots and saved games, well I imagine you could screen shot almost every level of every game you have, save at every checkpoint to every game you have and still have tons of room for a few thousand MP3's.

the same as any other hard drive, u never get 60GB in total, you'll get around 52 - 56GB if your lucky, but its still a good amount of space and you wouldn't need anything deleting unless you've downloaded every single freebie off the PS Network shop.
