Yes, back in my younger days. Now I realize we all get too soon old and too late smart.

What if is the biggest question anyone can ask themselves.
We all wonder how things would have been different. But life has taught me that all things happen for a reason and they all serve to build the type of person you eventually become.

No, I am not that sort of person. Things happen, and once they do they are usually irreversable. Regrets are useless, a waste of time. I prefer to work on my present situation and getting that right.

I call it the 'what if .... game' and it will drive you bonkers if you worry about decisions you have made in the past - to second guess yourself.

However, I like to think back and remember certain decisions I made that were really turning points in my life but - at the time - it didn't seem to have any significance.

Funny how life works, isn't it?

Occasionally - but I stop myself dead in my tracks...every changed thing would alter the good stuff that happened to me...so I know better than to dwell on that. But yes, at times I am human...lol

Not anymore! I used to "What If" My Lil ole' self into a tizzy!

I learned it is just too much wasted energy. Now I just go with the flow....It took years of practice to change my own thoughts & behaviors. ♥

It's good to paly what if, but it's better to ask this before making a big decision, not after. It helps you consider all of the posibilities.

We probably all do at one time or another, but we can't change the past so there isn't much point in pondering the issue.

I used to wonder now I am just pleasantly confused. Does not pay to waste time wondering what might have been.

That's why we read and ponder Robert Frost and "The Road Not Taken."
