My mom is takinq me to the doctors to have one done because i havent qotten my period in 5 months...NO IM NOT PREGNANT lol..this has happened to me before..[2 years aqo] ...so tha question is can a doctor see if im a virqin or not on a sonoqram?

Many people are under the impression that the hymen is located within the vagina. It is not. It’s a mucous membrane that is part of the vulva, the external genital organs. It’s located outside the vagina. The hymen is a layer of tissue, just like the tissue around the opening of your vagina that partially conceals the vaginal orifice. You may or may not have one, most females do. The hymen is not an indicator of virginity; a girl is a virgin until she has been penetrated by a penis.

Probably not - and it would make a difference whether you'er having the sonagram through your stomache or not. They could check to see if you hymen is intact which if it is then they would know that you're a virgin but it can be broken other ways besides sex.

If you say youre a virgin they will make a sonogram thru your skin,not with a stick that goes thru your vagina.....maybe a doctor can see your not a virgn anymore thru examination but I think he wouldnt tell it openly....Now if he asks(like all doctors do) is important that you tell the true this could make a great difference in your diagnose .

There is no way to positively tell if a girl is a virgin, even if the hymen is broken. The hymen can be broken in many ways, not only by intercourse.
So, your mom probably won't find anything out.
Make sure you practice safe sex.

No I don't think so. I think they would have to a exam but even just because your hymen is broken doesn;t mean you're not a virgin. You can break your hymen riding a bike and think how many girls ride bikes?

Only through a vaginal exam can a doctor tell. The hymen must still be intact.

no a doctor can not tell if ur a virgin. the only thing they can do is an examination to see if ur hymen has been broken. but this will be broken if u use tampons.

well u dont have to be a doctor to finger but yes he can by inserting his finger in n feel somethin inside her. witch i dont know what it is. cause someone mother did to her daugther n i have seen it bein done on TV too. so the answer is yes they can

they might be able to but i doubt your mother will ask her to wait in the waiting room and the doctor wont be able to tell her if your sexually active doctor patiant confidality so dont worry but answer allof there questions truthfully if they ask if you have had sex tell them the truth or it will make it alot harder for you and the doctor
