They're sorry they got caught. If they were truly sorry, they wouldn't have done it in the first place.

They are definitely sorry that they were caught. When Pettite admited to using HGH, he was sorry. If it isn't on the Mitchell Report, why wouldn't he admit before the Report? I expect to see several players admiting over the next month or two but I don't see Major League Baseball taking much action to condemn the players. Especially with all the pressure on Clemens to admit (which makes all these extra years so unremarkable) it really is wanting the baseball world to pay attention and see who lies (or dosen't, how do we know?) and put pressure on MLB to take some sort of action.

While I think its admirable of them to step up and admit they took steroids, they only did it once they were caught! I highly doubt any players who admitted to using steroids would have came out and said that they did if their names had not been on Mitchell's list. It makes sense...why admit to something you can get away with? When they realized that they couldn't, they decided to come out and say that they had used steroids. While I think that's a million times better than what Barry Bonds did, I would have to say that most of the players who admitted to using steroids are sorry that they got caught.

As you can see from Roger Steroids Clemens most named players are sorry they got caught. Some brave souls have admitted the use of enhancements and I give them kudos but you'll tell by the reactions whos who.
I used to think Clemens was truly great now he's just another Barry Bonds.

I think that they are sorry that they got caught cause before this came out alot of them were asked if they ever took HGH or Steroids and they would say no. Now you hear some those same people admitting that they did actually take it. If this report wouldnt of came out there is no way that you would hear Pettite say that he did take.

That would definitely be stupid for feeling sorry for yourself after taking or receiving steroids..... If you want to help your team win or come back faster from injury, so be it! It's not cheating because it takes away your eyesight gradually, makes your muscles tighter so you cannot swing a bat or throw a ball properly and will also cause you to have severe mental problems so that you cannot function on the baseball field. So far, no baseball player has experienced or shown any hostility or violence due to steroid use (thank God.....).

How many people who weren't on the Mitchell report have come out and admited it? None.
Does that mean there are no more out there, no, it means unless they were named/caught, there is no reason to come out of the closet and admit it.
Same with the players that were named, none of them are 'so much better' than the ones that weren't caught to think that they would have come out anyway.
It would be foolish to think anyone is truly sorry for doing it, just sorry they got caught.

Sorry they got caught! They never would have admitted to it if it weren't for the report and probably would still be using steroids!

well, they broke the law they bought HGH and steroids illegally. I'm pretty disappointed in all these players I spend time watching and paying money to see them play. most people say HGH wasn't a banned subtance, but you know what, they got it illegally and broke the law

Sorry they got caught.
But, I dont understand why people beef this up as much as they do. So they take a supplement not recommended (ban) by the drug admin or govt. Isn't this the same as all of the pills being sold online to people without perscriptions? Get over it. A lot of people have practice poppin pills - its in their normal routine or they take when something is wrong. So how is taking a pill supplement for a remedy or purpose any different from shooting steroids to make your muscles bulge? There is none except one is illegal and one isn't.
