These people according to the papers say that they know where madelaine is, who's taken her and that she is 100% still alive, and that she will be home for christmas. why are these people giving out false hope like this?

Because they are getting paid a whole bunch of money (thousands per month) out of the fund.

They'll say anything to keep the dough rolling in.

I have never heard of metodo 3.
