I have been yazmen and now I'm on a season L, this makes me have a period every 4 months. I don't think this is very safe (my opinion). What other birth controls are best. I have stabalizing cramps and sometimes I throw up during my period when I haven't been on birth control. So therefor I probably need something strong I'm geusing. Thank you for the help!!

There is a shot you can take once a year. It basically eliminates periods excepts for once every few years.

I think you're wrong about your BC not being safe. It is EXTREMELY difficult to get a medication approved by the FDA (the Food and Drug Administration). The regulations are very, very strict. First they do computer models, then they do animal tests, then they do several rounds of tests on humans. If there is any indication that the medication is unduly harmful, it will not be approved by the FDA. There have been cases of medications being approved and then later being retracted (see Vioxx), but this is relatively rare. So I wouldn't worry about it, personally.

However, you might switch to a regular low hormone type birth control. Pretty much any oral BC will alleviate your cramps.

Honestly, you have to find one that fits you best. Every girl is different. I was on the Depo-Provera shot for 5 years and decided to go back on the pill (Marvelon) in case I wanted to get pregnet. (Makes it a little easier off the Pill.)

Seasonale is quite safe--testing for years has shown it to be so. There's no reason you need to menstruate each month. So I wouldn't stress too much about that. It's much better than bad cramps and throwing up!

Yaz comes with 24 active pills and only 4 inactive pills. This makes your periods lighter.

Well, BC is very personal and what works for me may not be right for you...till you find the one for you its going to be trial and error.
If you are under 30 I'd stay away from Depo...some test results show that it leads to sterility.
Good luck
