Well anyone making the playoffs has a chance. If the D plays at its best it is one of the best in the NFL. Merriman (even on roids) is a monster. The secondary has looked really cood with Cromartie. All that it really comes down to is if P. Rivers can make a few plays a game and not turn it over. Along th lines of what the ravens did in 2000 with trent Dilfer. I am sure i will get plenty of thumbs downs for pats and colts fans but this is a unbiased opinion on football. Remeber any given sunday.

A month ago I'd have thought you were a nut job for bringing this team. I think, however, they have fully returned to the level of play they were at last year. So as amazed as I am to be saying this, I think a Norv Turner coached team has a real shot at going the distance. I am becoming increasingly less sure of the Patriots because of the major affect the weather is going to have on their offense. If you think about it they've played mediocre football in three of the last four weeks, which coincides pretty well with when it got cold. To their credit, they managed to win despite their problems, but they are clearly not the weather proof team of the past, even with Maroney finally showing up.

Honestly, the only way San Diego will go to the Superbowl is if they buy tickets to watch the game. Sorry, they just aren't the same caliber as the Patriots, Colts or Browns. The only reason they're in the playoffs is because of the weak division they occupy.

Not this year. They have too many issue's on offense. Tomlison will be stopped and Rivers is inconsistent. As you said they will have to go thru some tough opponents. They will loose in first round if they face the Jags. They could go to second round if they play the browns. But they will get beat by either the Colts, Pats or Steeles.

They are a decent team this year, but nowhere near good enough or experienced enough to beat the Patriots or the Colts. Both of those teams are led by excelent quarterbacks who can take control of a game at any time. I think that they will go one and done this year in the playoffs.

I think the Browns will beat them in the Wild Card round. San Diego's defense will not be able to contain the Browns offense, and the Browns will win 35-31 on offense alone, possibly a few key turnovers.

In Madden 2008? Oh yeah.
In the real NFL? Not a chance. Norv Turner is the coaching equivalent of the Black Plague.

Chargers are my team, but I don't think they can get past JAX in the WC, Indy in the playoffs, not to mention the Pats in the AFC champ game, only to get embarrassed 49er style in the SB against GB

No, and...Uh...You just named 5 AFC teams...They can't play each other in the Super Bowl...They could play each other in the playoffs...but I don't see the Chargers (or ANYONE ELSE) getting past the Pats...
