Because that's the only thing that makes our life complete. I can live without too much money, but i can't live without 24/7 of unlimited attention and affection. Being abandoned keeps me cranky all the time. All the money and cars and properties in this world failed to make me happy all these while. Being mesmerized 24/7 is my definition of happiness. Thanks honey. =)

My poor boy, you're sadly mistaken. We don't have to be mesmerized 24/7...we just don't want you mesmerizing any other female. If you MUST do so, make sure we don't catch you, but I've yet to find a guy who's good at doing that.

Men hope they have so much to give...women KNOW they've got so much to give, and they don't want to waste it...IMO..
then there's basic insecurity, which is non-gender specific...
Also being half Eyetalian myself, eyetalians are very passionate, and required more mesmerization than your avarage non Italian generic woman.. My mom divorced when she was 68 and remarried at 72...holding out for the right guy...which she got...so go figure.....
