Okay...I'm 17 and my parents wouldn't let me go to a Hinder/Papa Roach concert...but...Three Days Grace is coming where I live, and they are my all time favorite band. It's a once in a lifetime thing, and I need to convince them that I can go.

Any suggestions?

well, first, you are 17, so it's hardly a once in a lifetime thing. they aren't exactly on the last legs of popularity.
now, how good a kid are you? good grades? job? looking into going to college?
then, have they heard stuff from this band?
see, if you are a good kid, good grades and have a job, that looks a lot better than a spoiled brat who just wants to have fun. let them hear some of the stuff from the band. if you can buy the tickets yourself, offer to do so and to buy one for one of them or someone they trust to take you to the show. otherwise, wait a year till you turn 18, move out and can do what you want when you want
