My manager made home made chocolate for everyone and put there names on it and gave it to everyone in our department.

Do u think I should eat it, what if she spit in it or something, I'm not sure how she feels about me as an employee because she rarely talks to me.

I would not spit in anyone's food, but someone tampered with my friends food once in college so now I'm just careful of what I eat.

I wouldn't if I were you, since you maybe have a reason to be skeptical about the chocolate.

Thats not a very nice thing to say about your boss.
I think she has gone to a great deal of trouble to make you
ALL a personalised gift. Thats really thoughtful of her dont you think?
Thorntons charge an absolute fortune for pressies that are personalised, and maybe she couldnt afford to get each and every one of you something from there... its probably bought chocolate melted down and personalised anyway. But you are lucky to have such a nice boss too.

Why the spitting?
By saying that you are not 'calling her' for doing that, you are admitting that that could be something you would do. For that to have even entered your thoughts, it must be something you maybe would have done had it been you ... You should think before you speak

You have a lovely boss by the sound of it., A lot of bosses wouldnt even bother. The fact that she has gone for 'personalised' in my opinion, means her thoughts of you ALL far exceed the potential that you seem to have given them...

I just did today, as a matter of fact! However, I know for a fact that my boss likes me and wouldn't do anything gross to the chocolates. Maybe your boss is just sort of shy or socially awkward and can't relate to her employees, but the candy-making is her way of showing you all that she really does like you. If your boss is really truly evil, though, put down the candy and RUN to the nearest temp agency to find a new job.

I am pretty positive the boss wouldn't do that, maybe he or she is very happy with his or her employees, it's a good deed and refusing will hurt your boss!

I think that is silly. If you work somewhere where you would actually think your boss would do something like this at Christmastime.. it's time to get a new job.

I'd eat it if it was from my boss.. my boss is a great person!
