My husband (35) has been suffering from constant & severe migraines and heavy nose bleeds for more than a decade now.

He saw a doctor in his 20's about his problems, but the doctor assured him that it was just a passing 'stress phase'.

However, many years have gone past and they have only taken a turn for the worse.

I dont know why he hasnt gone to see a doctor again since for a seond opinion, but I finally persuaded him to see one this afternoon.

Does anyone know what could be causing these symptoms? I'm afraid that the doctor will turn around and say something horrible such as 'brain tumours'...

He needs to see an ENT (Ear Nose Throat) specialist.

My dad suffered like that for years too. The headaches and bleeding that turned to hemorraging.

Turns out he had some really bad sinus issues that were eventually solved without surgery.

That really isn't good, I'd be especially concerned about the migraines. And the fact that your nose is bleeding, my guess is there's something going on in the front of your head? Why wait 3 weeks? If it's really bad you should go to A&E, better to be safe than sorry.

Oh no...don't worry.
If it were something serious it would have happened years ago.

He may have thin lining in his nose which may rupture easily, which may cause the headaches and nosebleeds.

I believe people that suffer migraines dehydrate themselves. They should be drinking heaps of water everyday to keep there body hydrated.

I wish him all the best and hope he gets better soon.

God Bless!!!

I hope he is OK. A good friend of mine has exactly the same symptoms and has had quite a number of tests and they show nothing bad at all, he is in excellent health. A small non malignant polyp was removed from inside his nose and now his nosebleeds have stopped. Best of luck for both of you!

He needs to see a good ear, nose and throat Dr. Please don't be afraid of the answers the Dr. might give. I have had headaches etc, most of my life. For me sinus problems with severe allergies, deviated septum and sinus infections. Your hubby needs to have a sinus cat scan. They tried to give me one and that's when I found out I have a middle ear problem. Your hubby really needs help and if you have to be Mama Bear with her cub~~do it. I had to for my hubby because a former Dr. blamed everything on old age. We fired him and found a new Dr.
My hubby was diagnosed with Non~Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
He had surgery, chemo and for 76 is doing awesome. Our new Dr. doesn't believe in taking chances. He saved my husband's life by his quick action. Please email me if you want to and let me know how he is and the results. I wish you both the best of everything. xo
