...when the country is in trouble with much more important and urgent matters to deal with.Like CRIMINAL ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION,TAX REFORM,Bush keeps crapping dollars down the Iraq crapper, globalist treaties that are nothing less than treason...baseball...what a load of horsesh*t.

I have no interest in the game..like it or not is not my concern here. What concerns is that the mutts in Congress are wasting our time and taxes on an issue that has no IMPACT on the nation's well being.I could care less if those 'players' juice themselves to death if that's their choice...as far as non pro athletes go such as student athletes..make the penalties severe enough and they will get the message.

Just because you don't like baseball doesn't mean you should be critical.
Baseball's tricks affect high school and college kids who think they have to "shoot up" to be a star anymore.
If politics really matter, get those Illuminati power dwellers out of their money-grubbing positions and elect people who will work for the PEOPLE. No Bushes, Clintons or Obamas. No Halliburtons, money moguls or international financers. Just save America and not a portfolio.

I hear you. Who cares if a bunch of desperate athletes are willing to pump themselves full of drugs in order to continue to cheapen the game?! The baseball commissioner, Bud Selig, has known about it for years and let it go on. If he's too much a wuss to put his foot down on it, why should congress care? Let's not waste our tax dollars on this crap, congress. There are much more serious matters to give your attention too. I love baseball and I hate to see what the cheaters are doing to it, but I don't think it needs congress's attention at the moment.

well your right who gives a damn about the use of hgh or other steroids...i mean honestly what i care more about is the use of challenges in baseball now...that better not be applied to the game because i will seriously boycott the game...and id love to have others follow me on that...it really isnt congress thats intervening its more so senator mitchell but when bud selig(mlb commissioner) asked congress he didnt realize that people would get ticked about it that he is wasting our tax money for this all to take place...there are much better issues to be worried about

I resent your vulgarity. Congress is addressing your favorite issues and it is also concerned with the national sport of baseball. What you seem to be saying is that your concerns are all that matter. You are saying that anyone who doesn't agree with you is only worthy of a vulgarity. Is your view simple-minded? To give your writing credibility, look for better, more explicit words to express your unbalanced concerns.

I'm sure they've got the resources to tackle it all or they wouldn't be bothering with the hearings. Personally I think these hearings are quite overdue.

I couldn't agree more. It's like health care and Social Security aren't that important. Bullshit is right.
