I absolutely agree about Taylor Swift. I can't stand listening to her. I don't like Sugarland either. They both have whiny voices.

I'd have to say Cowboy Troy, who the hell ever heard of rap in country... that's a disgrace to the genre of music. But, I have to follow up with a close second on Taylor Swift as well. There's quite a few that suck the big one. but, unfortunately they seem to think these people have talent. what a joke...
Do u watch the cmt power picks we watch those in the morn and it's pathetic on how much they play the same songs all the time a lot of "Taylor Swift, Kellie Pickler"
You know some of these traditional country artists would probably turn over in their graves if they could see what they consider country today....

Well, I hear alot of jealousy in these answers, but to answer your question; There are alot of artists today who I simply don't like. I mean that as in: I do not like their music. Doesn't mean I don't like them as a person. Most of the New Country is horrible I hate to say. When I listen to country I like to listen to the classics. From about the early 80's to about 1997 or so was the best in my opinion. I have nothing personal against these new artists. But I wish they would leave the "pop" influences out of their songs. All it is doing is ruining country music. Country music is "Country" for a reason. It was not intended to be converted into something else.

I so agree with Taylor swift. To a point Carrie Underwood. As for why, just don't like their music. Sure they are bringing younger people to country music but most of what they do don't apeal to me.

I can't stand most of them, especially Kieth Urban, sorry but he isn't even close to being country, and he never will be. If they ain't got twin fiddles, a steal guitar, and maybe even a banjo, then they are not country, and country guys do not have earings, and country women do not dress like two dollar hookers. Unfortunately, you see this all over the place in country now, and they try to call their sound country, sorry, but it's not. So anyway, There's my answer, hoped it helped some. Take care.

I can't stomach Joe Nichols! It's not his voice, or just because he's from Arkansas (sarcasm)! I hate his whole life style! This involves his immaturity, addictions, bragging, revolving door rehab, obsession with Playboy $luts, asinine antics, sucking-up, and self-pity ( the constant whining)!
