Lol Gaymes, I'm dating a man who barely spoke English for the first two years of our relationship. I even sometimes subconsciously do things like not conjugate when I should, and forget to say "the" or "a/an."

We're going to each of our respective Parents, like we have for the last 27 years. We have yet to spend a Holiday together but that'll come in time.
The number of presents don't matter. What matters is that we're all together, especially after my sister's cancer a few years back and my parents' ill health. It's a blessing just to be together and have all of us Home.
Truck and I will get together, as we've done, after the First of the year and have our Christmas. We'll go out for Dinner this year with a cousin, open presents and have a small family party. We'll stay up past midnight and have a couple of drinks at home. Very quiet, just again, happy to have our own compnay.
We're boring, but Happy.

Going over to the pardner's parents' home, opening-up pressies (one of them is a new Wii system we're giving to the nieces), having some light dinner before coming home to host our own little gathering (grin). That takes care of Christmas.

For New Year, we are hosting our little own gathering 2 blocks south of the Torment of Roses Parades and throwing water on people. LOL!

I am sorry I don't have an off on Christmas, forget about the presents.

*Edit: Where did you pick that lingo up from, just curious... it sounds familiar, somehow ;-)? I am to be wondering.

**Edit: Oh, I know how that feels. English isn't my first language, and unconscious slips can sound really funny :-D

I don't ever celebrate any winter holiday, but my new gf loves christmas. So we'll be doing whatever she wants. I have no idea if I'll get any presents, but I'm not expecting any at all.
