If the Bush administration was behind 9/11 in an effort to create some sort of casus belli against Iraq, wouldn't it stand to reason that it would have also planted a few WMD so that nobody would later question the validity of the mission?

If you purport that this administration in populated by evil geniuses, it seems unlikely that nobody would have thought of that. It would have been relatively simple compared with the logistics necessary to pull off 9/11.

How do you square the two?

A: You don't have to convince me, I'm with you. My point was that if Bush had perpetrated 9/11, wouldn't he have planted WMD that would have unequivocally pointed to a current program by Saddam's regime?

Saint: No, actually all evidence points to it being exactly what it is purported to be by those who did it: a terrorist act planned and executed by radical Muslims who hate Western Civilization in general and the United States in particular.

If they were capable of logical thought and critical thinking, they wouldn't be conspiracy theorists in the first place, would they?
It's a waste of time arguing with idiots. All we can do is hope they grow a brain someday. Until then, just make sure none of them get into a position of power.

I don't believe in conspiracies, I think things are pretty much as they seem. But if I were to make a case, I would say this.

Israel believed Iraq was on the road to being able to deliver biological weapons in its SKUD missiles. They insisted to the US that if they did so, they would launch a full nuclear strike against Iraq. Bush had already said he opposed nation-building missions and did not want to attack Iraq. But Cheney and others wanted to help their Israeli allies and their lobbyists could sway alot of votes.

Bin Ladin came from a prominent Saudi family and opposed communism. He was recruited by the CIA to work in Afghanistan fighting the Soviets.

Working together, the Mosad, ex-CIA people unemployed since the fall of the USSR, Pro-empire Washington groups like Tri-lateral Commission and Al Qaida (a fictional front organization they created - headed by Osama (the spook) Bin Ladin), planned the 9/11 attack.

The attack gave the US the excuse to settle accounts in Afghanistan, Iraq, and hopefully Iran and Syria. They did not plan to steal oil, only make their other interests more valuable by reducing production. They also plan a new cold war with Russia so we can re-start the arms race.

It was not necessary to plant WMDs. The WMDs Bush was worried about were in Israel the whole time.

Once the War Machine became fully operational, the need to actually find WMD's ceased to exist. As I'm sure you know, many people have questioned the validity and absolutely NOTHING has changed as a result of that criticism. It is, in fact, possible.

Just like "V for Vendetta"

What really doesn't even make sense about these people is, what would President Bush gain in murdering that many people?
Who could sleep at night unless you were sick. You would have to run and hide after pulling something like that off.
Do you think President Bush would really send troops to Iraq to help another country and kill our own?

I agree. I love the ones that start off with "Bush is the stupidest man on the planet" and then follow it off with "Bush planned and executed 9/11"

There are still some honorable men in the US military who would have refused an illegal "plant" order and the Dumbya Coup was too afraid such a crime couldn't be silenced.

With the number of political opportunists that lurk on the Hill, nothing is secret for long.

Although bush is a retard, and I'm pretty liberal, I'm also a realist.

Conspiracy theorists are morons. Why would anyone screw with their own country like that?

I'm not saying that there was a conspiracy by Bush behind 911. But we didn't go to Iraq because of 911 either.
Bush tried to tie 911 to Iraq but it didn't work.
