First off, I love the statement by Bowden - talk about saying something in a roundabout, indirect way!
As for the scandal, it's not surprising. That's not a knock on Florida State, it's just that such a scandal at a big-time football school doesn't surprise me. I'm sure the Seminoles aren't the only ones to have cheating students, it just happens that they're the ones who were busted this time around. Given the horror stories that we've heard over many years regarding football and academics, it's not a shock.

Yeah this sucks for my team. That probably the reason why they are kicking out Dave Hart. At least they turned them in to the NCAA and not placed on probation. I have no idea how in the world we are going to play with 25 players missing from the team. Coach Bowden said he isn't going to play any of the red-shirt freashman. He might have to if players start getting hurt. This isn't going to be fun to watch. I might not watch so I can have a great New Years and not be pissed. This is embarrassing. I won't blame coach Bowden for this though.

Thats nothing USC has been paying their players for years and they just keep on going.. I wonder how much it cost them to keep the NCAA of their back..
