both are similar players in that they both shot 3pts and were defensive specialist. body wise posey is lengthy and athletic, while fox was solid and played position d. both could steal the ball, draw charges, and really get under the skin of offensive players (especially rick fox). both at one point or the other (in their younger years) was scoring option 1a or 2 on their respective teams. i'd have to go with fox because he did it longer and got three rings while being a big part of those laker championship teams. i don't personally like rick fox, but... eh... fox gets my vote.

as far as I know rick fox didn't have any defensive endorsements

james posey was better early in his career but now he's average. i'd have to go with rick fox because he's got 3 championships to prove it. shaq and kobe did most of the work but fox definitely contributed.
