Aniston, I've never heard it as a first name. It's nice though, uncommon but still "normal" enough.

I really like it. It does make me think of Jennifer Aniston, but its a unique first name. I think its nice. You know she'll be the only Aniston in her class, that would be nice. You could even use Annie as a nickname if you wanted.

You know, usually it bugs me when people try to get so unique on a baby's name that it becomes ridiculous or even changing the spelling, but I like Aniston. It's feminine, but it's a strong name that will carry her well. Much better than the Ashleyeh's and Emmaleighes i've been seeing on here. I'm preggers and don't know the sex yet, if it's a girl, can I steal your thunder?

I'm with everyone above who says she will never ever be able to avoid the Jennifer Aniston connotation, as pleasant a name as it is.

The other worry: you might call her Ani, but god help her if the kids decide to call her Anis....with a long A.

I see where you're coming from, but I think it would be too hard to get away from the Jennifer Aniston connotation. Sorry.

All everyone will ever say is, "Oh, did you name her after Jennifer Aniston?" And then you'll want to kill them. Just name her Annie if that's what you want to call her anyway.

It still makes me think of Jennifer Aniston. I don't care for it.

It sounds more like a last name than a first name, so, no, I wouldn't like that name for a girl. If you want a name, sort of similar to that, and still unique, how about Anais (A-nais)? I think it might be Hebrew meaning "gracious". The nickname can still be "Ani" or even "Ana".

Reminds me of Jennifer Maniston.......I don't like her chin. Personally, Im an angelina fan, so I don't really like Aniston for a girl. the name is too well known, kind of like naming a kid "Oprah" or "Elvis"

I think its adorable....but I wouldn't have her go by Annie......Aniston is so unique and cute, she would probably want to go by it instead
