The Cheapest Place Would Be Bestbuy Or Even The Mac Store Itself.

You can get one totally refurbished and warrantied like new from the Apple online store .... in the Special Deals section.

You'll save $250.

And don't be afraid to buy refurbished. At least not from Apple. I've done it several times and everything I've ever gotten has been perfect.

But I would NOT buy a refurb from ANYBODY else!

Apple sets the prices of their products...all retail locations will be selling the same products for the same price...Their stuff usually never goes on sale. However check out the Refurbished section of the online Apple store...here you can get great discounts on defective items that have been fixed by Apple techies...usually can save you hundreds of dollars on a new computer....also this "refurbished" products still come with the original factory one year warranty from date of purchase from Apple...heck of a good deal! see link below:

Unlike the above suggested, black is higher not only because of its color but also, at least potentially, because it has some extra bells and whistles. See http://www.apple.com/macbook/specs.html

For prices, go to:
http://www.google.com/products?hl=en
and type in what you want (in this case, "Macbook Black")
and your search results will be returned from least expensive to most expensive
