I cannot believe that's true....Drop CANE, the best new program this season.....Why would they drop another good show...and all the other rubbish keeps going...I HOPE IT CONTINUES...It was originally on the same time as Danicing with the Stars, so maybe many people didn't watch it...I did I watched Danicing with the Stars during the CANE commercials.

They are not dropping Cane. The show like most others is severely impacted by the writers strike which has now entered into its 6 week. All of the first run episodes have aired except of the "season" finale which airs tonight. Once they resolve this writers strike insanity, it should be back.

They were supposed to show the NCIS episode "Tribes" today (12/18/07) but they showed a repeat instead (the premiere "Bury Your Dead") and I wish the writers' strike ends soon. Even the TV Guide online still has the "Tribes" episode on...don't believe your TV Guide, or TV Guide Online or your recording system (Media Center...Tivo).

It's like I missed an episode of Boston Legal because when they were supposed to air it, they showed a news program about the California fires...then the next week, they showed that new episode but my system still had a repeat scheduled so it did not record it!

I do not trust the machine anymore.
Seeing is believing and believe me, there is no new NCIS tonight.

"CBS scheduled to air this episode on December 18, 2007, but a day before the episode aired, they replaced it with a repeat episode."

As far as Cane is concerned, their ratings were consistently last place in its timeslot across the board and they continue to fall across all categories. In a relatively weak group of new CBS shows, Cane ratings are below average so the December 18th episode may be the last.

It's all about ratings, not about quality.
