Eddie and Vickie were married in the eyes of God and were to remain loyal to one another till death they do part. Through good and bad, drugs, rehab, and early death, leaving 2 children, Vickie stood by her husband as she should have. She loved, honored, and respected him till the day he died.
Vickie has the RIGHT and has EARNED the right to now move on. If ANYONE here on Y Answers cared about Eddie they would respect what Vickie did by staying by his side through it all and be HAPPY that she is able to move on and find happiness. She is a young lady who has EARNED the right to be happy!
Also, if you even SLIGHTLY knew anything about Eddie, you would know he would want MORE THAN ANYTHING for his widow and children to be happy. Having loved someone and lose them would be rough, but to possibly live another 30-40 + years ALONE would be rougher! I personally believe that Eddie would WANT Vickie to be happy. He wanted her to be happy in life, and I am sure he would want her to be as happy after his death!
Not wanting Vickie to be happy and saying it is disrespectful to Eddie to move on; well, it simply means your saying that because you are selfish. That also means that you really do not care about Eddie or his family as much as you care about your own feelings.
I could never put my feelings for someone I was a fan of who passed BEFORE respecting them and the rights they EARNED, no one should. It is wrong.

And no it's not "sick" as somebody said. Do you think it's sick when people kiss in soap operas? That's all it's like.
And for those who said "Eddie will be mad at her" What? how do you know that? Eddie's been dead for quite a while, so if Vickie wanted to have a relationship with someone else in real life she should be able to. I don't think Eddie would want her to stay single for the rest of her life anyway. Who are you to judge people?

i personally do, but from what i understand, Eddie will do anything to get a character over, and wont mind. look at the Domick being Eddie's son storyline created by Eddie and Rey. Vickie wasnt too sure at first, but then agreed to it after a while.

Eddie had storylines involving women when he was alive, so he'd understand that it is just a storyline. I think he would be happy his wife is enjoying the business.

yes it is just exploiting his death for ratings if eddie has retired but vickie carried on as gm this storyline wouldn't be happening as people wouldn't be in as much shock to see it when the angle was first released
also if it wasn't eddies wife (for example kristal - as she was teddys fiance) they wouldn't be getting as many ratings
