Just an example, ..... ever wanted to own a Corvette and then when you finally own one it's not what you thought it would be like?? Ahhhh, .... the newness and mystery of something new! After we have something it's not as we invisioned it in the begininng. The lover that we sneaked around with. Going over to their place and fooling around. The mystery of it all!
After the hot passion we find out that they are human just like the rest of us. They have feelings and complain. We find out that they pick their nose. We like different television shows. Where did the passion and mystery go??? We have grown comfortably numb.
Of course when you enter the door from being friends to lovers things will never be the same again. You can't go back to Kansas Dorothy!!! Just another valuable life lesson to be learned. Don't feel bad ..... we all do it. Learn from it and don't repeat it. Hope this helps a little!!!!

Girl me too I just had a hot sexual affair!! No love involved because my heart belongs to another man who is in jail right now so for me I will have my fun but no love at all. I think we as women do that to men because we get everything we want from the nice guy and the naughty guy we want but can't keep up with all the bull so we get what we can then we move on to the next!! The fun is in the chase!! After we are satisfied we let them go so Girl get it while you can and move on there is nothing wrong with that at all.

Sure did and it was HOT! It lasted about 4 years, never made it a steady thing it was totally for the wonderful sex! Miss him some but I'm married so now he's on the "no no" list.

Maybe because you just wanted the sex, but maybe you cannot click with him personality wise so it is hard to continue without being able to connect with a person even if the sex is good (or not) . Its hard to say without more information. But this is my best guess. I hope you find someone you can have a hot love affair with for the rest of your life!

"Me. I don't have innocent friendships with women."
"It's either a love affair, or we don't speak to each other."
"You lost interest in him the moment he started to manipulate,
and therefore contradict your friendship."
"You had your 'Rules of Engagement' that you weren't willing
to compromise, no matter if you both were friends or lovers."
"It's funny to me, that a woman never finds out what kind of
'kinky things' her 'Homeboy' is into, until they agree to start
an even more intimate relationship."

No. But I am close to that situation now. I told my friend, a male, that we're just friends, and he agreed. I also told him if we get into a relationship with the way things are going for me with my depression that we will not only lose our relationship, but our friendship as well. He's getting used to it slowly, I have to keep reminding him though.

No I have never done that because I feared losing the friendship all together. You probably lost interest in him because you had got hat you wanted so you didnt want it anymore.

Yeah, the mystery is gone. And I'll bet he didn't make your eyeballs rolls up into your skull either or you'd be saying something else.
