Sure do. The little store on my block would give you 3 or 4 pieces of some candies for a penny. Didn't take much to fill those little brown bags.

OMG!!!! Yes just was so much fun! I could go in with a dime and leave happy with my small paper bag of candy..I even remember the store....It was called Jay's...oh he was a wonderful man! He even had penny candy all the way into the 70's, can U believe my daughter got to go there also! Oh when he died I was so sad..he was such a wonderful person!

I do and I use to get a bag full of candy for my 25 cent allowance!! Those were the days !!

can you remember those rolls of dots stuck on a long roll
roll of register ribbon that was my favorite
you had to pull them with your teeth to get them off
the strips parents were weird then the kids ate paper like goats
Those strips were 10 ft. long what about red hots
Or church quarter we use to buy a bagel after church
till the priest found out and they moved the shop
down town so we bought fat pickles from the
fruit market till we got pickle whipped from our Dad The Devil for robbing the Angels ,

Oh...I do..we used to go to Cape Cod every summer and they had a store that sold it and we would load up!! Ahhh...those were the days!!
