Just breathe.. calm down and relax. You will be fine, it sounds scary but honestly once labour has started your body will know what to do. As for names, Holly is lovely but if you don't like it go back to your baby name book, or perhaps after a reletive? If that fails then wait till you hold baby in your arms may be the name will just pop into your head. You have 6 weeks to register the birth, so take your time, they will have to live with this name :) Good Luck!

Don't panic. Your just getting nervous because you're getting closer to your due date. Holly or Hollie is very pretty and festive name. How bout Christa... somewhat like Christmas. Once you see your beautiful newborn you will forget about all the anxiety and pain. Good luck to you and your family. Merry Christmas.

Hi, congratulations first, what a special day to be expected/born, I am a 22nd December baby, just because the babe will be born round xmas you dont have to give the baby a xmas name anyhow what choices do you have, Holly, Noella, Noel 4 boy (noel edmonds shares my b/day 22nd), just wait till he/she is born and bond and then decide you dont have to rush, you will know when the time comes, get a book of baby names and make a short list! my kids werent named for a few weeks then we changed, Natalie, Hannah and jake. Best of luck.xx

First of all congratulations! I am sure you will do just fine, your baby will be in charge of the show anyway. :) As far as names go, Holly is cute, or you want something different try Noel. For a boy I like Christopher (as in Kris Kringle). Whatever name you choose will be good. :) Good luck!

I like Holly. My mother was born on Christmas and her name is Carol (like Christmas Carol). I like the name Holly for a Christmas baby. Switch up the spelling so your baby can be unique.

First, congratulations on having a baby! And second, if your going for a girls name I might suggest Loralie, Melissa, Dia, Sara, or even Elizabeth because a lot of nicknames could come from that name so you would have your options open anytime. (Example: One moment you could call her Lizzy, then the next something else that comes with her name) And for a boy theres Luke, Chris, Jacob, Mathew, etc. Hope this helps =)

Everyone is a bit scared when having their first baby,so don,t worry, there will be plenty of help available, and you won,t do anything wrong, nature is wonderful at doing things right! If it is a boy,Idon,t think he would like to be called "Holly"and you don,t have to make it a Christmassy name anyway.Good luck with it all, enjoy your life with your precious baby, and good health to you all.

Oo I like Holly! But of course don't go with it if you don't like it. Other Christmassy names are Natalie (means born on christmas) and Noel (this one is suitable for either sex). I also like the name Winter.
And don't be scared! Everything will be wonderful :) Congrats!

u two need to come to an agreement on a name. Holly, does sound a little cheesy only because its so close to christmas. what if she were born on easter would he name her "esther".

congrats on the baby. being scared is normal, i was very frightened.

If their birthday is actually on Christmas, I definitely would steer clear of HOLLY. She'll be made fun of for the rest of her life for having a festive ame on a festive holiday. Ya know what i mean?!
