I AM tired of these "people" calling President Bush stupid. He has done an excellent job of keeping terrorism off of our shores after 9/11 and they don't have the intelligence info that the president has read to him every day, if they did, they would be building bomb shelters in their back yards like they did in the '50s and '60s.
It really gets boring!!!!!!!!

Yeah, we all get tired of hearing it. You should be careful with the "our" president bit, not everyone is American. It's really tiresome that we have to keep hearing about how stupid Bush is, that's why I stopped listening to the news(they just report one stupid act, perpetrated by the man, after another). Maybe Bush should be replace quick, then we can here about other things.

Consider how it is when the shoe is on the other foot, I got tire as hell with Star and his investigation and all that howl about Clinton and his sexual life which I didn't give a dam about, (thought there were far more interesting things to investigate then his sex life, especially when he was Gov. of Ark). Still think that should be looked at and his tie in with Bush & Regon when weapons were shiped out of Ark and money and drugs brought in.

I think it has a lot to do with the way people were raised. I grew up during the Nixon scandal and it was drummed into our head that you must respect the office even if you can not respect the man.
Actually you had the same thing going on during the Carter years, the Reagan years, the Kennedy years, the Johnson years etc. It wasn't until the Clinton years that the internet was available for people (good thing Gore invented it) to massively communicate so it only seems like its worse.

No, really. My small mind it totally satisfied with every pot shot at the executive branch of government in general, but particularly when it involves W's intelligence. I'm sure he's a fairly smart man, since he was able to dupe nearly half the country into voting for him and his goons. But no way am I tired of posts that call him stupid. He's done some pretty stupid stuff, so why not call him on it. 1st president in US history to UNSIGN a treaty. A president that sacrifices thousands upon thousands of American and Iraqi lives for oil interests that would line his and other oil dopeys' pockets with incredible profits, leaving the little people in poverty and without toilet paper to eat.

I am for one! But, I don't let them get to me to bad, I just figure if they are so smart, why didn't they run for President ? Let them walk in his shoes a while, Then maybe People would call them stupid. too.
He has made bad choices, So have you, and I. His is just magnified, and I guess that is part of being the President.
also look, at the different groups we have now, We are just not Democrat's, and Republicans anymore.. It is still America,Or should I say about half America any more. So keep your chin up. Believe your convictions That is your Right,.and let them believe theirs. I

No. I use it as an informal poll to determine just how shallow and intellectually vapid the left is.
I mean, think about it. Whether you like the guy or not, he's done what it takes to be elected Governor of Texas and President of the United States, twice! Given this record of accomplishment compared to anyone calling this man stupid pretty much makes that person the village idiot by comparison. And, given the fact that they don't realize that, pretty much confirms my theory.

Get this.
President Bush was at a conference in Norway amongst a bunch of Norwegian leaders. He starts to speak, and he begins by expressing what a great country Sweden is. He starts talking about Swedish culture etc. One of his officials comes up to him and explains that they were in fact, in Norway. And he goes, oh.. right, same thing basically.
That alone gives enough reason to call our ridiculous president stupid.

Well, it really sounds like some people are rather jealous that he is really a great President and instead of giving him honor, they want to make him look bad. That's pretty childish, if you ask me.
Not, I, I believe he is a great President and deserves the respect of his people. However, majority of the right people do show him respect and honor, so why worry what small minded people are saying about him. Move on.

Yeah, its pretty old news that Bush is a moron. They could come up with something new.
I would rather see intelligent posts that raise the level of discourse and allow people to have a productive discussion. But hey, how likely is that to happen. We are stuck with trolls posting loaded questions (on both sides of the aisle) and every simpleton on Y!A responding with snappy one-liners.
