I'm finding myself sleeping 10 to 12 hours a day. I first I thought it was the sleeping pills I was taking but this continued when I stopped taking them. What's going on? I do have a pretty irregular and high demand job but I finished 4 years of college and neverhad to sleep this much. usually I wake up after 8 to 9 hours, just enough to see the time. Then I fall back asleep before I can get out of bed. I can't continually sleep this much. i have too much stuff to do.

Perhaps you need a women's energy multivitamin every day.

A healthy diet helps as well as too much junk food can sap your energy levels.

Maybe your body is finally catching up, but other than that I am not sure. Sleeping too much could be a sign of being ill, anything from mono to depression. If I were you I would just call my doctor and find out if there is anything you can do.

When you wake up to see the time, go directly to the shower and take it with cold water. Then drink a cup of coffee with your breakfast. Take your iron daily. For lunch eat lots of meat or food that have iron. You will see the difference!

I had the same problem, Only found out i was anaemic when i went to donate blood, they couldnt accept it because my iron levels were too low! eat plenty of red meat or get Ferrograd C, available in chemists over the counter for about $6 a month!

It may be that your mental exhaustion is out weighing your physical exhaustion. Try eating healthier and exercising.
I have a demanding job also, I am mentally exhausted when I get home. It makes me feel better to exercise anyway. It gives me added energy and releases some of the mental pressures.

This sleeping disease you see mostly occurs because of the lack of iron in your body.So start taking iron tablets and fruits or vegetables which contain iron in them.
