If a person puts you in their top 8 friends, what does that mean exactly? I accepted a friend request from this one guy I've never met (or even talked to online) and when I went to his profile, I was in his top 8. I know for a fact it's not an automated account, or a hijaked one. He logs in quite frequently, makes changes to his profile, but yet I'm STILL there! I sent him the following message last weekend, but still no reply or explanation.
"Top 8? I don't know you... but thanks?"
What does this all mean?!

He has 550+ friends, so I don't think that's the issue. And I'm clearly not the most attractive girl on his friends list....

1) No, I'm not dressed provacatively or anything.
2) He's 30 and I'm 16
3) I hate to admit this, but I don't want to delete him because it's the well-established account of one of the actors of my favorite tv shows.

If he has 3 friends & he adds you, you're gonna show up in his top 8.
Also, I have people, even company profiles in my top 8 because I never bother to change it. Some guys just don't care & they drag-n-drop random people into it. I'd find it flattering.
Once, a girl that added me out of no where put me as #1 in her top when I had never even spoken to her, in person, or in message. It's creepy, but flattering!

I used to randomly put people on my top 8. My friend does that regularly. I wouldn't be concerned at all really. Just ask him! Say hey. :)

Have he seen a pic or something of u...some guys r desperate like that...he probably thinks ur hot and guys must have to hottest chicks on their team...supposely makes them cool! Now if he never seen u...then u must be a bad chick. I want to be like u when i grow up!!
