Each one has it’s own perks, but form what I have, I would say the seasons is the best. It lets you have ‘left overs’ so you can serve a meal without wasting all that food, a change in seasons, the ability to have different hair styles depending on your clothing, you can grow your own food, or fish for it, and can turn into a plant sim.

It depends, the pets expansion is a great one. You can have kittens and puppies. Theres a whole lot more you can do with your pets then you could have when it was "The Sims Unleashed". Another good one I love is "The Sims 2 Seasons" expansion pack. You can have winter, spring, summer, and fall. It's so beautiful on the sims 2 seasons when the leaves fall of the trees and change color. Now nightlife, that one is pretty cool, you can drive cars and visit places that are "sim"uliar to Las Vagas (well it looks like las vegas, lol) Open for business i dont have that one, but alot of people say its a good one. Oh! but the newest expansion is called "Bon Voyage" that one is amazing, they can camp outside, go traveling and everything.

I would have to agree with most of the other people here, and say that Seasons is a pretty cool expansion pack. My favorite so far, though, is Bon Voyage--you get to take your Sims on vacations. There are three places you can go--the Mountains, the Beach, and the Far East. It's a lot of fun...
If you're just looking to add clothes and hairstyles to your Sims game, I suggest H&M...

Nightlife coz it gives the cars, dating, mobile phone.... then Seasons coz it adds such a great atmoshpere instead of that forever blue sky, the thunderstorm are amazing...plus great new actions with snow, pools... Bon voyage is a good addition to Seasons, then Open for business which is probably the most challenging ep as to have a successful business by reaching the top... then pets for the cute puppies & kittens but they digg holes in your front yards all the time :( Uni would be the last, all they have time is study really.
All of them are good, they all bring something different to the game and any additions is good unlike the stuff pack which are quite expensive for what you get so dont waste your money there, millions of free great downloads outthere

Nightlife is the expansion pack I consider to be a requirement. The downtown area adds so much to the game, dating becomes possible, you can own cars, etc.
Since many people have Nightlife by owning Deluxe, my other choice would be Seasons. Ignoring all of the cool features that come with the game (gardening, leftovers, a pool slide, etc.), how can you not enjoy having a realistic weather system? I love the snow!

University is a must have for the bonus's your sims get from going to college. Open for business allows you to develop many relationships faster as you meet customers daily. If you love animals then Pets is where it is at. Seasons has to add the most substance to the game. And Bon Voyage is alright. Nightlife adds alot of relationship stuff as well as the Car which is very important if you wanna sleep in before going to work.

W ell I think you have to buy the base first but if you like messing with animals get pets,if you have starting a new job get collage,if your all about the fun get night life,but night life is my least favorite. And If you love having and raising kids get family fun stuff I dont really like open for business because its so hard and i dont like running my own business because you dont make any money . My favorite is pets(probably because its the most recent one i bought, but its still good.)All of them are great thought and you'll have fun no matter what you get. But make sure you pc is running pretty fast because it slows down when you put the game on :(

It depends on what you want your Sim to do. I personally like Seasons, as I think it adds a depth of reality to it. But you might not find it as immediately interesting as Nightlife, for example.

i like the seasons the most. i heard the nightlife is cool too...your sims can buy cars with that one

Seasons is okay, but the whole farming thing gets boring quickly. I think my favorite is pets because it adds the most to the game :D
