Because he's not an extremest whack job whose political career thrives on publicity. Jackson and Sharpton are like the Lindsey and Britney of politics.
EDIT - Kookoo Bananas, you obviously never watch Fox News. Keep reading people's opinions about things instead of experiencing them for yourself....that makes a whole lotta sense.

Probably because he is a sharp man who understand that Jackson and Sharpton do nothing to help minorities, just to further add to their oppression.
Without minorities being oppressed Jackson and Sharpton would no longer be needed. Keyes wants to make a difference with all people in elevating this nation and her people.
Do you believe that CNN would want to report this? CNN is irresponsible journalism geared to the far left, as well as MSNBC and the rest of the leftist media that has been caught in many journalistic falsehoods. Why would the left report anything positive about a Republican?

Most black people would be offended that you might think that Jessie or Al represent them and their viewpoints. Most black people are not racists and are repulsed by race baiting.
Then who is deciding for black people who their leaders are?
If you ask any liberal why they support a Jessie or Al, who pervert Dr King's message by inciting racial hatred, personally profiting from conflict, etc , liberals always respond that they know Jessie and Al are cretins and false leaders; the liberals blame the media for choosing Al and Jessie;
therein is the answer. The media chooses who represents black people- not black people or liberals.
The media will never give significant attention towards a black leader who opposes the media's preference. Look what they did to Bill Cosby who opposed Jessie and Al? They dug up dirt to destroy Cosby and send a message to any other black leader, if you oppose our viewpoint, we will destroy you.
It's the media, it's the media, it's the media.

He actually had his own TV show on MSNBC, which was cancelled. I find it intriguing that people from the far right call MSNBC left-leaning when they actually are the only network to give him a voice. He gets away with saying things most white conservatives would only dream of saying because he is black (he supported the South Africa apartheid regime).
Why doesn't he get coverage? He is a very poor and uncharismatic speaker who has a tendency of insulting the media, debate moderators, and anyone who stands in his way. Sure, he knows alot of 50 cent words, but that has a tendency to make a person sound condescending (which I believe he is to anyone who doesn't agree with him).
Personally, I think he is hilarious.

Alan Keyes is a nutjob, plus he's black so he'd never be on Fox News (white supremist channel).
