Meat balls are supposed to be based on ground meat with bread or rusk, shaped into small spheres.
Beef, Lamb or Pork are traditional......erm..OK!.
Faggots are minced 'Lights' (lungs), Liver, Kidney, Rusk, Seasoning and bound up partially in 'Kel' (Fine intestine lining). Only Pork.....Luverly!.
Frozen Faggots are Bread and Seasoning, E numbers, Gravy..... The cardboard wrapper tastes better.
Faggots have been eaten in Britain for longer than 100 years; much longer.
