I have always simply washed my son's clothing with all the rest. I know a lot of people spend tons of money on special 'baby detergents' and do it all in separate loads but I think that is simply making it all too complicated.

I use a generic dye and perfume free detergent and it has never been a problem and I do recommend that since a lot of dyes and scents can be harsh on baby's skin.

But unless someone in the household works somewhere that they would have a lot of grease, dirt, or fiberglass on their clothes there isn't a real need to separate. It's clothes...that's all.

We wash our daughter's close right side out. Like someone said before unless there is a decoration or something that might get ruined during the wash. We use Dreft or "baby" soap because I LOVE the smell. When we do run out we use perfume/dye free soap and it's never been a problem. I also use Totally Toddler on her bibs, stained clothes, etc! Good luck!

Congratulations! Either way, it really doesn't matter. Dreft is a wonderful product. I used it with all my 3 children and worked wonderful. I hand washed the stains with Dreft and then in the wash. Just don't use any clorox. I made the mistake of washing my first son clothes in clorox, like you not knowing any better and his little body broke out in a rash. I learned my lesson. Good luck!

everybody telling you which you're able to purchase some high priced detergent designed noticeably for babies is incorrect and characteristic offered into the merchandising that Dreft and different detergent companies positioned available. except your baby has some heavily comfortable dermis (you would be attentive to this very quickly in view which you will additionally want a dye and heady scent unfastened cleansing soap, creams and toddler wipes) you do no longer could do separate multiple laundry with high priced detergents (God is conscious with a sparkling toddler you have neither the time nor the money to spare). while my grandmother washed my dad's outfits while he replaced right into a toddler she did it in lye cleansing soap. What do you think of mothers did in the previous a lot of those distinctiveness soaps have been invented? Dough is nice the main severe element is to confirm each and every of the cleansing soap is rinsed out and don't use fabric softeners. i be attentive to you will do what you prefer to yet I purely want you to be attentive to the reality additionally in case you variety your appropriate question right into a Google seek bar you will locate thousands of articles from credible components telling you the right comparable element. Congratulations on your kit of exhilaration.

Leave them right side out. :) But, try washing them in Dreft or All Baby detergent. I know most people say the baby detergent isn't necessary, but it was for me! My daughter is a red head with very sensitive skin, and when I washed her clothes in regular detergent she broke out in a rash! You're baby probably won't have sensitive skin, but for the first few months, what does it hurt to use the sensitive baby stuff? :) Good luck!

It doesn't seem to matter if they are inside out or not. Just use Dreft or a baby detergent for the first few months since your baby's skin will be very sensitive in the beginning.

If you turn them inside out, the fuzz-balls get trapped on the outside instead of in. Don't bother with fancy detergents. Many of them will only cause problems for baby with all of the special perfumes and dyes in them. Just stick to a simple allergen free soap.

i just separated the clothes into to three piles( lites, darks and reds)the reasoning is b/c i learned to hard way that even if there is a little red on the shirt, the first time you wash it , its going to fade! so, i wouldn't really worry about turning the clothes inside out unless directed for you to do so on the tag. good luck and congratulations!
