I have been having many pregnancy symptoms but did a hpt and got a negative result. I am not due to get my period until thursday, 2 days, but I feel pregnant. I have heartburn, nausea, sore back, tired all the time, increase cervical mucous, increased saliva, moodiness, sore boobs, darkening areola's, increase in smell. Could I be pregnant? Or is just in my head, I'm going crazy I just want to know what the chances are. Could I have all these symptoms and not be pregnant?

PMS and early pregnancy symptoms mirror each other. You could be pregnant, or you could just be about to start your period.

It is very possible that you are pregnant. All of those test say "TEST UP TO ^ DAYS EARLIER" but it's not the amount of time after wards, it's your body. The only way that a test can detect pregnancy is if your body has started giving off hcg and this can take some time for some women.
I had taken 5 urine tests, including one at the doctors before I had my missed period and they all came out negative. I thought that I was pregnant, but after that, i was thinking maybe not. Then my period didn't come around, I tested the night that I missed my period and still got a negative. Then i waited a few days, took another test and it came up positive!! When I had gotten a positive, it was exactly a week since I had a tiny little bit of spotting (implantation bleeding).
They only thing that you can do is wait, it's tough but negatives aren't fun.
Good luck and baby dust to you!!

You could just be testing too early. Take a EPT as it says you are able to take it 4/5 days before missed period. It is also likely to get a false negative on an hpt - call your doctor and see if they can do a urine test or blood test to see if you really are pregnant. Most symptoms you did mention can lead to different things, such as; stress. Good luck!

You could be pregnant, but you might not be.

The fact that you named practically every single pregnancy symptom makes me think that you might be convincing yourself that you have them all. When we were trying for a baby, every month, I convinced myself that I was pregnant based on the "symptoms" I was having. In fact, I was just premenstrual and telling myself I was pregnant.

When I was actually pregnant, I had no pregnancy symptoms and was actually pretty sure I wasn't pregnant.

Anyway, you'll get the most accurate results once you have missed your period. So try again in a few days if you don't get it.

This could all be stress related or you are testing too early, I suggest waiting until you are a vouple days late and testing again. If you arent satisfied with the results see your doctor and request a blood test. Good luck

You really need to wait until you have missed your period to test. This is when you will get the most accurate results.
