Neither. You should respect the office he holds, and you should form your own opinion of his policies by reading about the things he's done on the internet and in books.

"Hate," just like "love," is not a word that has any place in politics. You don't know him personally, so it isn't your place to hate him or love him.

No one can tell you how to feel about his Presidency. You have to decide that for yourself.

I like President George W. Bush. This country is doing better economically then some would have you believe. He cut taxes than actually helped the middle class and the poor. He raised the level of where the start of paying income taxes Begin. This helps poor people. the top 5% of rich people were paying 56% of the taxes and since the tax cuts, the top 6% of rich people now pay over 60% of all of our income taxes.
By cutting taxes it has allowed businesses to expand and with this expansion, promotes the growth in this country by creating more jobs.
The government now collects more taxes because more people are working. Instead of a the burden of higher taxes on the few.

Hope this helps. You sound like a smart kid wanting to know these things already!

Yes. I do. I have respect for our President of the United States of America. He deserves our respect for all the hard work he does to save our country from terrorists. He is also respected by his military advisers and administration. Hail the Chief!! You would want that if you were President. Despite what I read in this forum, or hear while I am out having coffee, I still believe he is a great President.

Well since he's started enacting his policies, my wife lost her job due to funding cuts despite being at the peak of her career and being especially well qualified, my family members are working harder for the same pay, the worst recession I can remember hit right as I finished college, home prices skyrocketed until I went to buy a house then they crashed right afterwards, and my money is worth less than it was even 3 years ago.

I don't like or hate him personally. He might be a decent guy for all I know but, I strongly dislike his economic policies because they keep affecting me personally.

You should form your own opinion based on facts.

As for what FACTS are, Yahoo answers is not the best place to get them. You will get a mixture of "Bush is the best! Protects us from evil....." and "Bush is Hitler and loves to kill children". Neither is accurate.

I personally think he is honest and forthright. He has made too much effort to please those on the other side of the aisle and in doing so has alienated many of those who put him in in the first place. We elect presidents to lead, not listen to every poll and drop everything when things get tough.

i'm sure i would like him as a person. he's very friendly and charming, and even funny in person.

as a president, he's been terrible. the economy is falling apart, the war was a mistake, the world hates us and the country is more divided than it's been since the civil war.

are you deciding whether to like him as a person, or are you deciding whether or not you like him as a president? they are VERY different questions.

75% of the country hates him for too many reasons to list here, but for starters your vocabulary is probably far better than his which shouldn't be the case for a President
