Yes I did it was my favorite show, I had all the songs memorized but I stopped watching it it kindergarten. Actually thanks to being the oldest of 6 kids I still have many occasions to bring out the songs on long car rides to entertain my 6 and 3 year old sisters and to keep the rest of us sane. So I guess in a weird way I owe my sanity to Barney! Hows that for weird

Barney Fife?
Barney the Dinosaur was a little before my time...BUT, we discovered him overseas after the birth of my first child in 1989. We had no cable tv in (Sardinia) Italy and were looking for an entertaining video for "those moments" and found by chance the very first Barney video ever put out. This was a few months before he took America by storm, so to speak...ha-ha.

I watched it growing up. Never stoped watching it. I watch it with my son now. He's 4 years old. I still get offended when people sing that "Kill Barney" song infront of me. I love Barney. My boyfriend loves Scooby Do and I hate him. My boyfrined hates Barney so we can't agree on cartoons at all. Much peace! - Jessy

I am only here to tell you that I am happy to be my age...You kids missed so much that was the generation before yours. I have watched and love Barney through all three of my kids.

I love Barney!!! He's great especially for kids and the last time I watched Barney for me was .....9 years ago so I was 11Barney's good because there's no swearing or put downs. Swearing and put downs lower your self-esteem.

I was obsessed with barney when I was little! By the time I started kindergarden I had barney clothes, shoes, stuffed animals, and cd's. I had no shame in it either! Until I was about seven and I was told that only babies like barney: (

no barney came out after i was grown with a child of my own.
yes we watched him until my son turned 10. :0) sometimes i still watch it for a few minutes, if no one is home.

Thank god Barney wasn't around in the 70's. Otherwise my generation would be as fcuked up as my son's generation is with the school shootings and mall shootings and what-not. And no, I did not let him watch it, either, so he should be ok.
