Im making many models out of plasticine and i need to know how to make it hard and not be able to loose its shape! Any ideas much appreciated!

Just had a look on the net and it looks as if it is considered to be a temporary medium..suppose you could always cover in white pva glue and see what happens but it will still be soft inside.

You need to change materials to Sculpy or other air or oven hardening clays. You are working in the wrong stuff for what you want to do - like asking how to make carved wood fireproof.

plasticine is really an intermediate medium... things modeled or sculpted in plasticine, then a mold is made...

You can harden the outside with banana oil. I know you don't believe me but try hobbies/crafts websites.
