I want to know that somebody's IQ have any direct effect on the him or her power of listening?

No, except as noted above. But for active listening, there is no correlation except for lower IQ levels. A problem like ADD would lead to problems with listening.

One of the most powerful correlates to IQ scores is vocabulary and literally not knowing what others are saying is a big problem in listening. To that extent, IQ would be related to listening skills.

don't see any connection between the two. My IQ is high but as for listening skills....I wish I could say the same

Nah... I know people with both higher and lower IQ's than mine and neither group listens to me :( :( :(
