My house looks like a tornado hit it... no joke. I'm rarely home, and when I am, I'm to tired to clean. I just found out people are coming over for Christmas eve. I don't have any days off between now and then, and I work from 6am-4pm every day! Does anyone have any advice?

you must set aside 2 hours per day to clean. right when you get home from work.
you can hire help but that might be more trouble than it's worth. Cancel all plans but work and focus on the house. one room at a time.

focus on a little a day, not the entire house. do your kitchen first b/c people like to mingle in the kitchen. and who needs to go in your bedroom or master bath. focus on rooms you know people will be in. when i clean i pick up stuff before the cleaning supplies even come up. if you try to vacuum with stuff all over the floor it will make your life that much more difficult. and use all your cabinets and closets to throw stuff in for the time being.
