Chris, keep your pants on, I am old enough to be your very very very young mother. lol.
TB: I think we have Troy as a runner-up :)
The Asian Sensation (love the name): It is hard to blame GM entirely when the organization is having such serious financial trouble.
Kevin Lowe seems to be placed there for seniority reasons. Yet, I feel, that his decisions were probably made for salary cap reasons.

Lity: Reading my mind, eh. I don't have boots, because of the climate, but I have a pair of flip-flops with his name all over them. I think he needs to be the first one to go once they obtain new owners. I better make sure I have enough wine in my arsenal, to endure the pain that waits for me tonight against Atlanta. It’s depressing that they are even divisional competition.

Chris: You took away my Star, WTF!!! Ok, ok, I am 14 years old....chew bubble gum, and look just like Hanna Montana.....does that make you feel better......now give me my star back, kid-o. lmao.
I had stated before, I am asking Santa boyfriend for a digital camera, and if I get one, maybe you'll get to see what I look like.

Feaster in Tampa in my opinion. Since winning the cup it has been obvious to all us armchair GMs that Tampa needed a goalie. Initially the problem was all the money was tied up in the big three. Now the increased cap has freed up some room yet he refuses to address the goalie situation with anything but other teams cast offs and ineffective backups.

The team seems to have 3 of the best players in the league with probably the worst supporting cast in the league. It has become obvious that it is not working yet nothing gets done.

Please give us Brad Richards..............please....

Well, Bob Hartley is on the hot seat still for Atlanta's woeful start to the season.

But I'd rank Kevin Lowe as being the worst GM in hockey currently. Sure, talk analysts talk all they want about Michael Nylander screwing him (apparently Nylander has a verbal agreement to sign with the Oilers, but instead signed with Washington).

And granted, he does have a lack of money to work with (minimal corporate sponsorship for Edmonton), but the foolishness of signing Dustin Penner to a 4.25 mil per season, 5 year deal, AND the trading of Ryan Smyth last season for young scraps and a 1st round pick has thrown this team into the gutter much quicker then expected.

He couldn't keep hold of either of his former captains (Jason Smith, Ryan Smyth) and his team is currently in last place. They've has success on the ice over the past couple weeks solely because of their two goalies catching onto hot streaks.

Dean Lombardi (LA Kings) and Don Maloney (Phoenix Coyotes) are managers of two of the worst teams in the league, but they are both still in the rebuilding process and the managers just began to work this season, so it's still too early to judge them.

The parity in the league this season is outstanding, so it's hard to point fingers at the one big screw up in the league, but Lowe seems like the most formidable candidate.

Feaster in TB. It's been obvious that he doesn't have a big league goalie and hasn't had one since the Bulin Wall left but he keeps running the sieve of the week out there game after game and hoping Vinny and crew can out score the opposition.
Mind you, since TB has won in recent memory, there probably isn't as urgent a need there to show results as say Washington or Buffalo.

Ummm..... I think that Kings GM Dean Lombardi has market cornered on stupidity. Giving a 3-year deal to Dan Cloutier before last season was only the most obvious example.

Nashville's David Poile.

Lost: Scottie Upshall, Kimmo Timonen, Paul Kariya, Thomas Vokoun

Got: Radek Bonk, Greg de Vries and Jed Ortmeyer

Now, it wasn't all his fault, but most GM's could of gotten some better talent then that despite it being a fire sale.

How come we don't get to show JFJ our respect??? The man is unparelled in the world of futility, he's the Icon of the Ineffectual, The Dean of Deadbeats, the Lord of the Leaches, he's the King of.... oh.oh, you asked for the runner up. My mistake, excuse me, sorry. You'll find the runner up at the other end of the Queen E, Darcy Regier. Try as he might, he'll never take top dog spot from Jr, though.

Gary

Ryan Smyth was never a captain in Edmonton.

The GM I think that needs to go more than any other GM is probably your very own Mr. Feaster.

Darth Vader.................the GM that traded Joe Thornton was fired at the end of that year!
