How many agree that this is the most ridiculous thing ever? If Tony Romo would have been that effected in his numbers just because his girlfriend was at the game.. then he probably shouldn't be playing Football. Sounds silly to me. I think the media is just trying to create hype because of Jessica.

Jessica Simpson has nothing to do with Romo and his bad game. Perhaps we should give the Eagles some credit for playing good defense and putting pressure on Romo to make quick decisions.
Jessica Simpson had nothing to do with the outcome of that game... nor did any other female in that stadium.

Yeah that truly is a stupid excuse. These guys are all professionals and it has absolutely no bearing on the outcome of a game. When Romo is playing a game, he does not have Jessica on his mind but a blitzing linebacker or what coverage or defense the other team is in. This is most definetly a media hype and I'm sure that the Cowboys and Rromo would say the same thing.

That is a sorry media excuse. I am not a fan of the Cowboys or Texas in general. I do feel bad that the media is falsely blaming Jessica Simpson on the teams bad game. Because it's not like none of the other football players have celebrity significant others....right, right.

Yeah, I think it's a case of the media just being idiots here. I can't imagine Romo, the Dallas coaching staff, or 99% of fans really believing that Jessica Simpson being in attendance had anything to do with that loss.

Hearing those types of theories make me embarrassed for anyone who would believe them.

The media created the hype, Romo is a professional and the fact that he would have had any of his friends in the stands would have had no effect on his game.

I agree with you. Jessica Simpson was at the Jets game on Thanksgiving, and she was at the Packers game a couple of weeks ago also, and they won both of those games convincingly. The Boys just played horrible offense and they deserved to lose that game. They'll be ready on Saturday.

I agree totally with that. I personally enjoyed watching it happen, I'm really not a fan of the cowboys... Go Pack. I don't think Romo having a bad game had anything to do with Jessica, it's just a lame excuse.

I feel exactly the same as you, if you are a celebrity guest away from a bad game, start typin up that resume. Secondly, if you have to lose a few games to date Jessica Simpson, not a bad trade off

Not really, a lot of famous athletes skills and performance have been affected when they start dating high profile woman.

Derek Jeter
Tiger Woods
Barry Zito (Allysa Milano killed his Career)
Tony Romo (Last time Dallas lost a game in Dallas, he was dating Carry Underwood and she was in attendance)
Jose Canseco (Madonna)
Sergei Federov (Anna Kornikova)

It's like Mick said in Rocky, "Woman weaken the Knees"
