The old south?? I'm a true southerner and I don't think you would be happy living there. History has protrayed the old south as where everyone has a white mansion and lots of property and slaves. The truth is that only the very rich and elite could afford to live that way. Most southerners were just farmers trying to dig out a living anyway they could. No sitting on the porch and drinking mint jullips.
No reason to fear if Obama becomes the next president. I doubt anyone will live much different than they are right now. The same can be said about the other presidental canidates. All have big plans to get elected then once they are in office it's the same.

You seem to be a very ill-educated man. Our country may be better off without you. Obama is not my choice but saying something as closed minded as you will leave the country is ridiculous. You will not. You would never give up the privileges that come with being an American, regardless of who our president is. By the way, the old south was in America. So where is it exactly that you would go?

Black people represent less than 20% of the US polulation.. Yet, you'd never guess that with all the media coverage they get. If a black man becomes president I will leave this country for New Zealand / Austrailia. A man with the blood of the poorest country in the world ( Africa ) running the rishest country in the world. Gime me a break! I hate white liberals and I can't stomach how disgusting America has become.

No, to abandon a counrty because of a four year term that could end early if he is stupid enough to break the law and get impeached, or piss enough people off and get assasinated would be very stupid.
