Bad Guys in wrestling are called heels. Good guys are called "Face", which is short for Babyface. People who play between face and heel are considered "Neutrals" or "Tweeners."
Rey Mysterio would be a good example of what a face is, Randy Orton is a heel. The only thing close enough to a tweener that I can think of off of the top of my head is Fit Finlay

The Heel is the baddie of wrestling! The guy you love to hate !!
He cuts promos in-ring to make you hate him, he starts feuds with the good guys or "faces".Then when he wrestles, he cheats with chairs or weapons or just distracts the ref.If he can cheat to win, then he does it.Even after the win, he usually hits his opponent with a few more moves.

Sdown heels inc. Edge, M Henry, Khali.
ECW heels inc. BDV, Elijah Burke, The Miz.

A heel is like a bad guy...that everyone hates dou to the things he does in the ring and probably outside the ring!
Edge & HHH are the best heel ever. See some of their match and you'll really understand what's a heel

the heels purpose is to get the face over, if the people hate a heel whoever they are against the people will get behind that face because they want to see the heel get beat.
austins character was always heel same with undertaker they always did heelish things i.e bury somone alive, beat people up ect but the people loved it and thats what made them popular

like a bad guy if you notice you always have the bad vs good (heel vs face) last night in the diva tag match all four on one team were good (face) and another were bad (face) also the same with the jeff/HBK vs orton/kennedy match
you will also notice that it mixes up rivalrys
jeff - orton (royal - wwe champ match)
jeff - kennedy(ic rivalry lasted till survivors)
orton - hbk (all year pretty much)
kennedy - HBK (recently over kennedy saying he was future)
you will notice all these rivalrys are heel vs. face its very rare that you see a face vs. face or a heel vs. heel rivalry
