Record yourself reading it on tape or on your computer, then put it on your mp3 player or play it on a tape deck over and over while you're hanging out at home reading magazines or surfing the web or walking the neighborhood or whatever as if you were listening to music. Try to recite along with it as you listen. You'll pick it up pretty quick.

Well for ever one its different. But for me, when I walk around or do something active I can remember things better. So try tossing a ball around, or just simplily walking.
I have a school play audition, and walking around and listening to my ipod has helped me remember my lines and is a big reason why I've gotten good grades.

Use the poetry to help, it is like learning a song. Follow the punctuation, commas are short pauses, semi colons a little longer, colons, longer yet. Periods, question marks and exclamation points are full stops. This will help you understand the ideas in the speech. When you know what you are saying, it is easy to remember it.
