I'd love to see that article. Was it penned by Paul Krugman or Michael Moore?

Seriously, let them emigrate. Unless they have the funds to buy themselves a paradise island, they're not going to find "better lives" outside the US.

You might be referring to the fact that many Americans are retiring outside of America.

There is a mass of immigration of retirees to Southern Mexico, Panama, and Costa Rica. They are beautiful places with friendly people and the dollar goes a lot farther.

My father is planning on retiring near Cozumel. It's gorgeous and the dollar can buy a lot of property.

That's been going on for some time especially for those people who speak a second language and with modest US retirement funds can live quit well and even allot better then living in the US.

I sure do wish that those who believe in a Nanny State would just pack-up and head-out to a Nanny State already in existence, rather than creating such a mess trying to turn our nation into one.

No, not with a democrat in power. Well, maybe the Cons will move then to Iraq (their new home), where they can establish their theocracy and dictatorship. Good luck!

You picked up that article in the fiction section. But, I invite anyone who feels they can have a better life in another country to try it out.
